COLOR VUE Hair Lounge owner Mike Makkawi is thrilled to open his newest salon in the Tribeca neighborhood of Lower Manhattan, in New York City. A former model who switched to backstage stylist, Mike has over 20 years of professional international experience in the hair industry. As a licensed Hair Stylist in New York, Mike is a Wella Professional Color consultant, a LASIO Keratin Smoothing Treatment specialist, and, is certified through SoCapUSA for hair extensions. Following previous salon ownership in New York City, Mike pioneered a new salon experience overseas with an American Center for Haircare. As an educator abroad, he shared his passion for color, healthier haircare, and customer service. Back in New York, Mike then shared his expertise with salons in Murray Hill, the Upper West Side, and along Fifth Avenue.

COLOR VUE Hair Lounge on Warren Street is Mike’s new permanent home for maintaining the latest in professional upscale hair services.
